Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Compramos o seu bilhete is a free service for sellers. We help you sell tickets you no longer need and find tickets for sold-out events, through intermediation, direct purchase, or other options described on our site. When you choose to pay for a purchase through our online payment link, the amount includes a service fee and the card processing fee, always itemised separately before you confirm payment.

2. What data we collect

We only collect the data you give us directly through our forms:

• If you want to sell a ticket: name, email, phone, country and preferred contact method; event and ticket details (event name, type, date, venue, category, section/row/seat, purchase platform, price paid); how much you'd like to receive and, if you choose to provide it, how you'd like to receive it (IBAN or MB WAY number, only used for manual-payment situations - see section 4); and any notes you choose to write.
• If you want to buy a ticket: name, email, phone, country and preferred contact method; details of the event you're looking for; number of tickets and how much you're willing to pay; and any notes you choose to write.
• Ticket documents: if we move forward with your sell request, you may send us the ticket (PDF) or a photo/screenshot, through a private link. These files may contain personal data linked to the ticket (e.g. your name, if it appears on it).
• If you pay through a payment link we send you: email, phone and card details, collected and processed directly by Stripe (see section 4). These never pass through our servers or get stored by us. The total shown always itemises the ticket price, our service fee, and the card processing fee.
• If you subscribe to our newsletter: your email address, used only to send you event highlights. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

Payment to the seller is always made manually by our team (bank transfer or MB WAY), never through Stripe. We ask for your IBAN or phone number directly - that data is only used to make that transfer.

3. What we use your data for

• Reviewing and responding to your sell or buy request;
• Contacting you to propose the best way to sell or find your ticket;
• Managing the ticket transfer and agreed payment;
• Processing payment for a purchase, when you choose to pay through a checkout link;
• Manually matching compatible buy and sell requests (this is done by a member of our team, not an automated system);
• Sending the newsletter, only to those who voluntarily subscribed;
• Complying with legal obligations, where applicable.

The legal basis for this processing is the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), except for the newsletter, whose legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Who we share your data with

We don't sell, publish or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. There is no public listing of tickets or contact details.

The only exception involving another user is when the seller gives written consent for a specific transaction; in that case, we share only the data strictly necessary to complete it (for example, contact details to arrange the ticket transfer), always within the scope of your own request.

Documents you send us (ticket/proof of purchase) are stored privately and only accessed by our administrative team, through password-protected access.

We use two service providers who process data on our behalf, subject to their own data protection terms: Stripe, to process purchase payments (we never see or store your card details), and Resend, to send emails (notifications and newsletter). Neither provider uses your data for its own purposes.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep your data while your request is active, and for as long as needed to meet legal, tax or accounting obligations after the deal is completed. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, as described in section 7.

6. Cookies

This site uses essential cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work, namely to keep administrative sessions authenticated and to remember your language preference. These cookies don't collect data that identifies you or track your activity, and cannot be disabled.

We also use Vercel Analytics for site visit statistics (for example, most-viewed pages or country of origin). This tool doesn't use cookies or identify individual visitors, so it always runs, without depending on any consent.

This site shows advertising through Google AdSense and uses Google Analytics to understand how it's used. For visitors in the European Union, United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google displays a single consent message where you can choose whether to accept personalised ads and/or usage statistics, as required by European regulation. Until you choose, both stay off by default.

If you don't consent, the site keeps working normally. You'll simply stop seeing personalised ads and won't be counted in usage statistics. You can change this choice at any time, for example by clearing this site's data in your browser.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you;
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten");
• Request restriction of, or object to, processing;
• Request portability of your data;
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@compramososeubilhete.com. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD): www.cnpd.pt.

8. Security

Documents you send us are stored privately, outside public access, and only accessed by authenticated administrators. Admin login passwords are stored encrypted.

9. Reselling tickets above the purchase price

Portuguese law restricts reselling event tickets for more than their original price. Our service respects this limit: under the direct purchase and intermediation options, the amount charged to the final buyer does not exceed what the seller paid for the ticket, plus only a service fee. It is the seller's responsibility to confirm they have the right to resell the ticket under applicable rules.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
